Tartaria or the Great Tartary was a name used from the Middle Ages until the twentieth century to designate the great tract of northern and central Asia stretching from the Caspian Sea and the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Another Lost Atlantis, Tartaria has been relegated to the stuff of myths for centuries. Recently, evidence of archeology, maps and writing tablets have proven the Tartary was not only a real place with it's own culture but that it's writing system is older than Sumerian from Ancient Babylon. Furthermore, remnants of Tartaria permeates all the cultures of the World today
