The Friedensbaumstiftung and the Pestalozzidorf in Wahlwies have planted a Japanese cake tree in a joint campaign.
The young tree is protected by an old sequoia tree that stands next to the peace tree. Following the very touching planting ceremony spoken by Matthias, all of them have sent their peace in small traditional tobacco bags and these were hung on the peace tree.
The children's choir sang very nice songs. The sun shone and everyone felt very reserved and connected.
Thanks to all organizers of the Friedensbaum Foundation. It was very nice to have been there.
